    Trial and error - guessing game, frustrating, and not possible in incohesive UX. Destructive if user misinterprets the effects of their action.

    This can be safe guarded with confirmation popups, but this: 1) makes a one step interaction into a two step interaction, 2) is intrusive, and 3) generally users don't like anything that interrupts what they are doing or captures the entire screen
